The past few weeks have been an unsettling time for all of us, and we’re trying hard to get used to the new situation that’s here for the foreseeable future. Through these difficult times, it’s heartening to feel the togetherness we’ve shared as a nation and to witness the incredible job our NHS and other key workers are doing for us.
As a company, Wessex wants to keep supporting you as a customer. In line with the recent government advice, we’ve been able to set up remote working for the majority of our staff, as it’s imperative that we put the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers at the forefront of our business.
How will this affect the service you expect from Wessex?
We want to reassure you that Wessex is operating as ‘business as usual’. Although some/many staff are working from home where this is possible, we have full access to everything we need to serve you as is usual. We are speaking to our customers by phone and we are also using video conferencing facility as an alternative to site meetings which is proving very welcome.

What are stock levels like?
Currently, we are sitting on good stocks of whole goods and parts, we are working closer than ever with our key suppliers to ensure new stock is coming through as required.
Will I get my delivery on time?
We are still sending out our parts on a regular 24-hour service. Wessex whole goods are currently shipping on pallet carriers and our own transport in the usual time scale-free of charge to UK mainland customers.
What about machine builds?
With 50,000sqft of factory space, we have the capacity to segregate our production staff to continue fabricating and building machines safely and effectively under the current government guidelines.
